Working with the Youth

Hey fam!

This week was great, we were able to meet with our investigator Juan again on Saturday. It turns out he didn’t like the YSA ward and wants to come back to our ward. He missed yesterday because of daylight savings, but he’s still doing well.
Not much else of note has happened. We’re trying to work with some of the less active youth in the ward, the youth program in this ward is small.
That’s about it! Love you all!

Zone Conference and a Baptismal Date

Hey fam!

This past week felt like an eternity. We had lots of cool experiences, though.
First of all, we had a new investigator move into the ward from one of my old areas, and he’s ready to get baptized! He just has to meet with the mission president first, but then we’re good! He has a pretty interesting story, but he is really looking forward to being baptized.
We had a zone conference this week, and we were taught a lot of new methods to help investigators learn to read the scriptures, how to pray, and to teach the importance of coming to church. One thing that is pretty cool is that if we can teach people to do this, any concern in they have with joining the church will be resolved.
Well, that’s about it!
