Ni Hao and Aloha!
This week flew by faster than a Mercedes Benz (which, interestingly enough, is native to this area of Southern California)
But really, I blinked and it’s Monday again. But for some reason, I’m exhausted. (Time is weird)
This week, Gladys Knight came to our mission and we had a devotional. If you don’t know who Gladys Knight is, ask your mom, she’ll know. But, it was super cool! She brought her Grammy Award Winning choir with her, and it was super cool. It was also a great missionary opportunity, and we brought our investigator Brother T with us. He loved it, and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. So, for the next few days or so, we will be delivering packages with a copy of the Book of Mormon, a dvd about the Restoration, and a CD with some of the music sung by the choir. (super pumped over here)
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take pictures of the choir, so y’all can’t see it, but take my word for it, it was cool.
That’s about all I’ve got this week!
Love you, miss you,
– Elder Jon Peter Ahlstrom
